Step 1: Pin the Extension
Make BccBuddy easily accessible in your Chrome toolbar
Why pin the extension?
Pinning keeps the BccBuddy icon visible in your Chrome toolbar, making it easy to access settings and manually inject triggers when needed.
Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome toolbar
This opens the extensions menu
Find BccBuddy in the list
Look for the BccBuddy extension
Click the pin icon next to BccBuddy
This will pin it to your toolbar
Step 2: Authenticate Your Account
Connect your extension to your BccBuddy account
Why authenticate?
Authentication unlocks your custom playbooks, triggers, and advanced features. Without it, you'll only have basic functionality.
Click the BccBuddy icon in your toolbar
This opens the extension sidepanel
Click "Sign In" or "Get Started"
This will open the authentication page
Sign in with your BccBuddy account
Use the same credentials as your web dashboard

Domain Exclusions
Automatically exclude your company domain from auto-injection to prevent internal emails from triggering workflows.
Manual Injection with "Add to Bcc"
Click "Add to Bcc" next to any trigger to manually inject it into your current email compose window for one-time use.
Default Trigger Settings
Set your favorite trigger by clicking the star icon next to any trigger. This becomes your default for auto-injection and manual use.

Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions
Extension not working?
Make sure you're on Gmail (mail.google.com) and refresh the page. Check that the extension is enabled in Chrome settings.
Auto-injection not happening?
Check your auto-injection settings in the extension. Make sure you have a default trigger configured and auto-injection is enabled.
Can't find the extension?
Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome toolbar and look for BccBuddy. If it's not pinned, you'll need to pin it first.
Authentication issues?
Make sure you're using the same email address for both your BccBuddy account and the extension. Try signing out and back in.
